Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a romantic-comedy produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film is directed and produced by Karan Johar, marking his directorial comeback after, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which released in 2016. Released on 28th July, 2023 the film celebrates 25 years of Karan Johar journey as a Bollywood director.
Bollywood royalties Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt play the titular roles of Rocky and Rani in the upcoming Dharma rom-com. Both of them made their acting debut with Karan Johar. They're supported by a star-studded ensemble featuring veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi playing the integral role of their grandparents. All of whom have starred in several hit Bollywood films directed by Karan Johar. Actors Ronit Roy, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saswita Chaterjee, and Sriti Jha round out the extended cast.
