Synopsis

In the midst of World War II, a father and daughter evade capture while carrying a mysterious treasure

As World War II rages in France, a young blind girl named Marie seeks to evade capture as they try to keep a precious diamond out of Nazi hands. Meanwhile, a young Nazi officer, Werner, must decide if he will obey his orders or listen to his conscience.

All the Light We Cannot See is a dramatic miniseries produced by Netflix. The series takes place over four episodes and is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Anthony Doerr. All the Light We Cannot See stars Aria Mia Loberti as Marie-Laure LeBlanc, a blind teenager living in France during World War II. Her father, Daniel LeBlanc, is played by Mark Ruffalo, and her great-uncle Ettienne is played by Hugh Laurie. Other cast members include Louis Hofmann as Werner Pfennig, Lars Eidinger as Reinhold von Rupel, Andrea Deck, and Marion Bailey.
