Seth Rogen and the original film’s voice cast return for Amazon Studios’ animated series
Sausage Party: Foodtopia Season 1 is the first season of the adult comedy animated series produced by Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television, and Annapurna Television. The series is a sequel to Seth Rogen and Evan Goldburg’s film Sausage Party. Two creators are back in charge of the series, alongside two of their other co-writers from the film, Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, who are showrunners and executive producers on the series.
Much of the film’s voice cast return for the Sausage Party series, including Seth Rogen himself as Frank the hot dog, and Kristen Wiig as Brenda the bun. Michael Cera once more voices Barry, David Krumholtz plays Kareem Abdul Lavash, and Edward Norton gives voice to Sammy Bagel Jr. New additions to the cast include Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester.
