Synopsis

Rick Riordan’s book series is adapted into a young adult fantasy series for Disney

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an action-fantasy series produced by Disney. The series is based on the 5-book series of the same name by author Rick Riordan. Jon Steinberg and Dan Shotz act as showrunners, while the screenplay is written by Riordan and Steinberg alongside Daphne Olive, Monica Owusu-Breen, and Joe Tracz. James Bobin directs. 

The young demi-god at the heart of the story, Percy Jackson, is played by Walker Scobell (The Adam Project). He is joined by Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, a daughter of Athena, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Percy’s best friend. The cast is rounded out by Lance Reddick, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Toby Stephens, Tim Sharp, and more.
