Synopsis
Two matriarchs find themselves in an escalatory battle for land in 1854 Oregon
In 1854 in Washington Territory in the US, the matriarchs of two opposing families find their destinies increasingly intertwined. One family, the Nolans, are highly religious and believe God gave them their Oregon property—while the aristocratic Van Ness family claim their right to the land via monetary purchase. As the conflict escalates, a war of ideology and power at the heart of American society erupts.
