Synopsis
IDOL PRODUCER is a Chinese reality survival show that premiered on January 19, 2018, on iQIYI. Modeled after Korea’s Produce 101, it brought together 100 male trainees from various entertainment agencies across China to compete for a spot in a 9-member idol group. Over the course of several weeks, trainees were evaluated on their singing, dancing, and performance abilities, with rankings determined by audience votes.
