Princess Ellian begins a quest to save her family and her kingdom. When Ellian’s parents, the reigning King and Queen of Lumbria, are cursed by an evil enchantment, they turn into dangerous monsters. The princess hopes to reverse the enchantment and save the kingdom before the damage is irreversible.
Spellbound is an upcoming musical-fantasy animated film on Netflix. Spellbound is directed by Vicky Jenson, who also co-directed the box office success and first Oscar winning animated film, Shrek. Rachel Zegler stars as the voice of Princess Ellian, leading the A-list ensemble cast of the animated musical film. Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem voice the roles of Queen Ellsmere and King Solon, reuniting after co-starring together in Being The Ricardos. John Lithgow plays Minister Bolinar, with Jenifer Lewis as Minister Nazara Prone. Nathan Lane voices The Oracle of the Sun, with André de Shields as The Oracle of the Moon and Jordan Fisher as Callan. Tituss Burgess is also part of the cast.
