When Barry goes back in time to save his mother, he finds himself in a dark reality in which General Zod reigns unchallenged
Barry Allen is a normal guy who also happens to possess the power to run at superspeed. After learning he can run faster than the clock, he goes back in time to try and save his mother. However, he didn’t bank on landing in a reality in which the villain General Zod reigns without any superheroes to rival him. Barry, also known as The Flash, teams up with the allies he can find to try and stop the General before it’s too late.

The Flash is an upcoming superhero movie produced by DC Studios and distributed by Warner Bros. The film is based on the DC comic books depicting the character The Flash. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti, with the screenplay by Christina Hodson, who previously wrote the script for Birds of Prey (2020). The film takes place within the wider DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which includes films such as Wonder Woman, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League.
Actor Ezra Miller stars as Barry Allen, otherwise known as The Flash. Barry’s father, Henry Allen, is portrayed by Ron Livingston. In the comic book storyline, Henry is falsely convicted for killing his wife, Barry’s mother. Two iconic Batmen step back into their suits: Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck. Keaton plays an alternate universe Bruce Wayne, while Affleck appears as the Batman from the previous DCEU films. The Flash is Affleck’s last outing as Batman. The film introduces a new face in Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl) who is portrayed by Sasha Calle.
