A young man is bobbing on the surface of the blue waters just off the Rangiroa Atoll in French Polynesia. He takes a deep breath and vanishes beneath the waves. Minutes pass, but he doesn't resurface. This is world champion freediver Frédéric Buyle. His mission: to get more intimate with aquatic wildlife than ever before by using the most basic of methods - diving by holding your breath.
