Synopsis
Lola learns about love and loss during another summer at Cousins Beach
A year after the events of the first season, Belly returns to Cousins Beach for her summer holiday to find Conrad and Jeremiah waiting for her. As Susannah continues to battle her illness, taking a toll on her sons, Conrad and Jeremiah, Belly grapples with her feelings for both of them.

The creator of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before returns to write the second season of Amazon’s teen romance series
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is the second season of the coming-of-age romantic drama series produced by Amazon Studios. The series is based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy of the same title, which the author herself adapts for the small screen. Han is also known for writing the book To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which was turned into a successful Netflix series by the same title. The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on Han’s second book in the series, It's Not Summer Without You, which takes place a year after the end of the first season.
The series stars Lola Tung as Isabel (aka Belly), the teenage girl discovering herself and her first loves while on summer vacation. She is joined again by her two love interests: Christopher Briney as Conrad, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah. Rachel Blanchard returns as Susannah Fisher, and Jackie Chung as Laurel Park, while Sean Kaufman reprises his role as Belly’s brother, Steven. Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade) also join the cast for season 2.
