Synopsis
Axel Foley is back in Beverly Hills to uncover a new plot involving old friends
After a call from an old friend Detective Axel Foley returns to Beverly Hills. Looking to investigate claims of corruption in the Beverly Hills Police Department and reuniting with his estranged daughter, Axel Foley finds himself in the middle of a vast conspiracy. With his family in danger and his own life on the line, the legendary detective has his work cut out for him.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley is an upcoming buddy cop action comedy movie. It is the fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. The movie is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Eddie Murphy through their respective production companies and is distributed by Netflix. The movie is directed by Australian filmmaker Mark Molloy with a screenplay from Will Beal, Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten. The movie is sometimes referred to as Beverly Hills Cop 4 but the official title is Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley.
Returning to the role of Axel Foley for the fourth time is legendary comedian and actor Eddie Murphy. He is joined by co-star Judge Reinhold who plays Billy Rosewood. Paul Reiser is back as Detective Jeffrey Friedman who was last seen in Beverly Hills Cop II. John Ashton and Bronson Pinochet also return to the franchise playing Sgt. John Taggart and Serge respectively. Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Mark Pellegrino, and Billy Bob Thornton are confirmed guest stars.
