Shazam! Fury of the Gods is an upcoming superhero movie produced by New Line Cinema and DC Films. The movie is a direct sequel to Shazam!, which centered on a teenage boy called Billy Batson after obtaining superhuman abilities. Director David F. Sandberg returns to direct the sequel, while lead actors Zachary Levi and Asher Angel also reprise their roles. They are joined by Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren and Lucy Lui, who play Hespera and Kalypso. Shazam! Fury of the Gods was released in cinemas on March 17th, 2023.
