Who is starring in Sonic the Hedgehog 3?
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 stars Ben Schwartz in the titular role as Sonic the Hedgehog. Jim Carrey reprises his role as Dr. Robotnik. He is joined by Colleen O’Shaughnessey who voices Tails, and Idris Elba who voices Knuckles. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter star as Tom and Maddie Wachowski while Lee Majdoub plays Agent Stone.
Is Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3?
Shadow was first teased in a mid-credits scene in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. That cameo was a non-speaking part leaving much mystery as to who would voice the character. In April 2024, it was confirmed that legendary Hollywood actor and star of John Wick, Keanu Reeves had signed on for the role.
Is Maria Robotnik in Sonic 3?
Maria Robotnik is a key character in the backstory of Shadow. She is portrayed by actress Alyla Browne in the movie. Her first appearance in the games was Sonic Adventure 2, which the third movie takes some inspiration from including the logo and the theme song.
Does the Knuckles TV show connect to Sonic the Hedgehog 3?
The Knuckles TV show featuring Idris Elba in the role of Knuckles is set right before the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The show is set in the same universe but tells its own story. It is not essential watching before Sonic the Hedgehog 3 but does expand the backstory of the titular character, Knuckles.
