Synopsis
Raylan Givens returns to apprehend a violent sociopath known as the Oklahoma Wildman in Justified: City Primeval
In Detroit, a ruthless criminal killer is on the loose and evading capture by the police force. With his formidable defense attorney by his side, the man known as the Oklahoma Wildman is elusive and dangerous. To apprehend him, the Detroit police force employs the skills of U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. With his famous Stetson in hand, the investigator arrives in Detroit intent on bringing the Wildman in. But when his own daughter unexpectedly gets caught up in the case, things become more complicated for the hardened detective.

Justified: City Primeval is a crime drama television show based on the novel City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit written by Elmore Leonard. The show is a spin-off from the Emmy Award-winning series Justified. City Primeval is produced by FX Productions and Sony Pictures Television for the network FX. Dave Andron and Michael Dinner are showrunners for Justified: City Primeval with original show creator Graham Yost acting as an executive producer.
Timothy Olyphant returns to play U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens after an iconic turn as the character in the original show Justified. His adversary in the show, Clement Mansel, known as The Oklahoma Wildman, is played by Body Holbrook. Aunjanue Ellis stars as Carolyn Wilder while Vivian Olyphant stars opposite her father as Raylan Given’s daughter. The wider cast includes Adelaide Clemens, Vondie Curtis Hall, Marin Ireland, Ravi Patel, Norbert Leo Butz, and Victor Williams. Justified: City Primeval was released on July 18th, 2023 on FX.
