Synopsis

A night security guard must survive until morning while hunted by murderous animatronic mascots

Mike Schmidt is a night security guard who finds himself in a new job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. While the pizzeria is all fun and games during the day, Mike finds out that after midnight the animatronic mascots come to life with nothing but murder in their hearts.

Five Nights at Freddy’s is a supernatural horror film produced by Blumhouse Productions. The film is based on the video game of the same name, and is adapted for the screen by Emma Tammi, Scott Cawthon, and Seth Cuddeback. Tammi directs the production, while Jim Henson’s Creature Shop creates the frightening animatronics used in the film.

Five Nights at Freddy’s stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) as Mike Schmidt, the unsuspecting new night security guard. He is joined by Piper Rubio as the young Abby Schmidt, Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa, and Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard, amongst others.
