Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming action-adventure film produced by Sega and Paramount Pictures. The film is the third instalment in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game adaptation series, and is directed by Sam Fowler and written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 sees the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 return to their roles. Ben Schwartz reprises his role as the voice of the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog, Colleen O'Shaughnessey joins again as the voice of Miles ‘Tails’ Prower, and Idris Elba voices Knuckles the Echidna. As for the live action characters, James Marsden returns as sheriff Tom Wachowski, while Tika Sumpter reprises his role as Tom’s wife, Maddie Wachowski, and Lee Majdoub joins as Agent Stone. Legendary comedic actor Jim Carrey also reprises his role as the villainous Dr Robotnik.
