The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will be available to watch on Netflix from February 11, 2025.
The monster hunter Geralt of Rivia is tasked with investigating several attacks that took place in a coastal village. But as his investigation continues, he discovers the attacks are connected to an ancient conflict between humans and merpeople. Together with his friends, Gerlalt must find out what happened and why before tensions boil over.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is an upcoming animated film produced for Netflix, which follows the story of Geralt of Rivia as he investigates several attacks that took place in a coastal town. The film is directed by Kang Hei Chul, who previously acted as a storyboard artist on The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The Witcher series writers Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin pen the film’s screenplay, and the series showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich acts as producer on the production. Source material author Andrzej Sapkowski serves as a creative consultant. The story of Sirens of the Deep is based on Sapkowski’s short story ‘A Little Sacrifice’. The film is set within The Witcher series’ timeline between episodes 5 and 6 in season 1.
American actor Doug Cockle voices the lead character, the witcher Gerlant of Rivia. Cockle previously voiced the character in the video game The Witcher 3. Meanwhile, two actors from the Witcher live-action television series reprise their roles in the animated film: Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yennifer, and Joey Batey as the bard Jaskier. Christina Wren voices a new character called Essi Daven.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will be released on Netflix on an unknown date in 2024.
