Synopsis
The students and staff of Abbott Elementary fill the halls for another year
As the staff and students at Abbott Elementary return to their classrooms for another year, it remains to be seen whether Janine and Gregory will finally get their romance on track. As the staff struggle to work with meagre resources, challenging students, and inconsistent personal lives, another year brings out both the best and the worst in them all.

Quinta Brunson returns to create the third season of ABC’s hit mockumentary series
Abbott Elementary Season 3 is the third season of the mockumentary sitcom series produced by Warner Bros Television and 20th Television for ABC. The series is created by actress, comedian, and writer Quinta Brunson. Its first seasons garnered many awards, including from the Critics’ Choice Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, and the Golden Globe Awards. Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern return as co-showrunners for the third season.
Series creator Quinta Brunson returns to star in season 3 of Abbott Elementary as Janine Teagues, a forever positive second-grade teacher. Tyler James Williams returns as Gregory Eddie, a substitute teacher. Janelle James reprises her role as school principal Ava Coleman, and Lisa Ann Walter returns as Melissa Schemmenti. Sheryl Lee Ralph once again portrays Barbara Howard, Chris Pefetti plays Jacob Hill, and William Stanford Davis returns as Mr Johnson.
