The 40 Best Natalie Portman Movies Ranked & How to Watch Them All Online

Academy Award winner Natalie Portman's illustrious career has spanned virtually every genre beginning from her powerhouse debut at 13 years old in Léon: The Professional to the Mighty Jane Foster in the Thor franchise. The actress became a household name during the late 1990s into the 2000s with her portrayal of Queen Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequels. Despite her starring in one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in all the galaxy, Portman consistently maintained her dedication to appearing in a mix of varying genres during that time from more romantic comedies/dramas including Where the Heart Is, Garden State and The Darjeeling Limited to more dramatic roles leading up to 2010 including Closer, her revered role in 2005’s V for Vendetta, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Other Woman, and Brothers.

Portman earned her Academy Award for Best Actress at the start of the new decade for Black Swan, solidifying her place as one of Hollywood’s major acting talents. She has continued to maintain her dedication to spanning genres as she’s appeared in raunchy comedies (Your Highness), sci-fi thrillers (Annihilation) and biopic dramas (Jackie) throughout the 2010s and beyond. The latter earned her her second Oscar nomination for Best Actress in 2016. She starred in the MCU’s introduction to Thor in 2011 as Jane Foster and received a larger part to play as the character in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

She launched her production company, Handsomecharlie Films, beginning in 2008 and has produced such titles as her directorial debut with the 2008 short film Eve, 2010’s Hesher, Jane Got a Gun in 2015 and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies the following year. Here are 40 Natalie Portman movies ranked and where you can find them.
