Synopsis
Calum and Sophie have their fleeting but free moments together. Father and daughter are on holiday at a cheap Turkish resort. The drama is set in the small details of their many daily interactions. The fact of them being daily, given that Sophie usually lives with her mum, is part of what gives those mundane moments such power. The story reveals a slow unpeeling of alert adolescent daughter from an existentially fraught and anxious adult father. Between observations and apologies, the pair are pitched at a perfect moment of change. An older Sophie looks back on this memory that holds such significance and interrupts the present from a future of greater understanding.
