Synopsis

In a small and quiet town of Japan's Kyushu region, a 17-year-old girl named Suzume finds herself entangled in a terrifying mystery. The wide-eyed teen meets a strange man who seeks a very special door. When the two of them find it in an old abandoned house in the mountains, Suzume is drawn to the handle by a captivating force. Stepping through, she opens a portal to the unknown. As more doors appear all over Japan, Suzume must travel across land and sea to lock each one closed and to stop the Doors of Disasters from upending the country.
