Having been the office for America’s First Lady since 1977, Aaron Cooley’s anthology series shows the inner workings of the East Wing and the charismatic women who have occupied it through the years. The First Lady features Academy Award-winner Viola Davis as First Lady Michelle Obama and O. T. Fagbenle as President Barack Obama. In 2016, Davis won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. She also has three Academy Award nominations.
