Amanda Waller assembles a powerful group monsters to create the Creature Commandos
A new team of superpowered vigilantes is on the block in the form of the Creature Commandos, a group made up of the Bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein himself, a radioactive doctor, a weasel, a robot, a top-notch soldier, and an amphibian humanoid.

Creature Commandos kicks off James Gunn’s DCU Chapter 1: “Gods and Monsters”
Creature Commandos is an upcoming animated superhero TV show produced by DC studios and Warner Bros Animation for Max. The show is based on the DC comics characters known as the Creature Commandos, made by JM DeMatteis and illustrated by Pat Broderick for the 1980s comic Weird War Tales #93. Creature Commandos is the first show created in the DC Universe (DCU), after the end of the DCEU. The first era of the DCU, known as Chapter 1 “Gods and Monsters,” is headed by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Gunn is known for his work elevating the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for Disney through his Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
The Creature Commandos are a group of elite, black ops monsters. The team is made up by the scientist Bride of Frankenstein (Indira Varma), Rick Flag Sr (Frank Grillo), Doctor Phosphorus (Alan Tudyk), Eric Frankenstein (David Harbour), Nina Mazursky (Zoë Chao), and Weasel and GI Robot (both voiced by Sean Gunn). Viola Davis returns to her role as the FBI official Amanda Waller, who first assembles the Creature Commandos into a cohesive team. Other key characters include Princess Ilana Rostovic (Maria Bakalova), and ARGUS agent John Economos (Steve Agee).

The duo confirm that Viola Davis’s Amanda Waller would make an appearance, assembling the Creature Commandos into a team.
