Synopsis
Faith pulls him away from the ring, and brings him back again
This is the true story of George Foreman, Olympic Gold medalist and World Heavyweight Champion. George was fuelled by his difficult childhood, he used his anger to propel him towards success.
A near-death experience took him from the boxing ring to the community of religion, however, when his community is struggling, George steps back into the ring. He makes history by reclaiming his title and becoming the oldest World Heavyweight Boxing Champion at the age of 45.

Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the world is an American biographical sport drama. Produced by Mandalay and Sony Pictures, the film is directed by George Tillman Jr. (Soul Food, The Hate U Give). The film is written by Tillman Jr, and Frank Baldwin (Cold Pursuit), with Brazilian pianist Marcelo Zarvos (American Ultra) composing the soundtrack.
Khris Davis (Judas and the Black Messiah, Space Jam: A New Legacy) plays George Foreman, and the film also stars Sullivan Jones as Muhammed Ali and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) as Doc Broadus. Michael K. Williams (12 Years A Slave) was originally cast as Doc Broadus, before his death. Filming took place from February to March 2022 in New Orleans.
