When a domineering family patriarch is suddenly confined to his bed after a medical emergency, the man who once controlled everything can now barely reach the remote. But while his body is down for the count, his ears still work—and what he hears is pure madness. From the bedroom, he becomes an unwilling witness to family members arguing over money that isn’t theirs yet, rehearsing fake sympathy, and openly plotting their futures like he’s already gone. Long-standing grudges bubble up, secrets spill out loud, and everyone forgets the one rule they should’ve followed: never talk trash in front of the man who built the house. As schemes unravel and loyalty proves optional, the bedridden patriarch realizes his greatest weapon isn’t strength—it’s timing. And with nothing left to lose, he just might turn the tables using nothing but his mind, his mouth, and a perfectly timed revelation. Bedridden is a dark, hilarious family drama that proves power doesn’t disappear when you’re stuck in bed—it just gets more entertaining.
