Although MobLand is a standalone series, it was initially developed as a Ray Donovan spinoff, and viewers can still feel the influence of the latter show. This time, though, Tom Hardy is the "fixer," and he dazzles in the role. Viewers won't want to miss his suave, intimidating performance, which beautifully compliments the rest of the stacked ensemble. These performances, combined with sharp writing and executive producer Guy Ritchie's brazen and humorous signature crime style, make MobLand an excellent, absorbing, and fast-paced series, even if it isn't the most original.
