Synopsis
A young sex worker falls in love with a would-be saint in 1950s Brazil
Hilda is a young beauty queen who trades a life of marriage for a career in sex work. But when she meets a young priest known as Malthus, she finds herself falling in love with the man who many believe to be a saint. Meanwhile, a leftist reporter named Roberto tries to interview Hilda about her life and choices as the growth of leftist politics causes a panic among the middle classes.
