Synopsis
From fairy-tale wedding to tragic funeral, the extraordinary life of Diana, Princess of Wales, was a chronicle of jewels, each marking distinct junctures in her life. Beginning with the infamous sapphire engagement ring, Diana was frequently showered with gems each of which held a unique significance to the events in her life at the time: the Spencer tiara at her wedding; the bracelet and cufflinks that signalled Charles' betrayal; the 'Swan Lake' suite marking the beginning of her love affair with Dodi Fayed; and finally the ring purchased by Dodi just days before the fatal crash in 1997. This revealing film follows the stories of Diana's most famous gems.
