Medieval noblemen escape the plague by retreating into the countryside

In medieval Italy, a plague known as the Black Death is spreading across the land. But in Florence, a group of local noblemen take their servants and flee to their villa in the country. With stocks of food and wine aplenty, the group awaits the passing of the plague and in the meantime find themselves drawn into all kinds of debauchery.
