Synopsis

The story of the Yellowjackets football team who get stranded in the Canadian wilderness for nineteen months in the 1990s continues to play back and forth between the past and present, as the characters wrestle with their experiences and the ramifications of what they brought back with them.

The dwindling cast of Showtime’s survival drama return for a third season of Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets Season 3 is the upcoming third season of Showtime’s hit teen survival drama series. The third season is once more co-created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, and co-run the series alongside Jonathan Lisco. The acclaimed series already won several awards for its first season, including a Critics Choice award, an Artios award, and several nominations for Emmy awards and a Golden Globe.
The surviving characters in the cast of Yellowjackets return for the third season, including the modern day members of the team: Melanie Lynskey as Shauna Shipman, Tawny Cypress as Taissa Turner, Christina Ricci as Misty Quigley, Simone Kessell as Lottie Matthews, and Lauren Ambrose as Van Palmer. Their younger selves are portrayed by Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson, respectively. Other cast members expected to return for the third season are Steven Krueger as Coach Ben, Sarah Desjardins as Shauna’s daughter, Callie, Alexa Barajas as Mari, Nia Sondaya as Akilah, Elijah Wood as citizen detective Walter Tattersall, and many others.
