Synopsis
In the heart of Chennai Central station, Deva (Rajinikanth), the legendary coolie, is known for two things — lifting the heaviest loads by day, and lifting skirts by night. Feared by men, desired by women, Velu lives by one motto: “Oru coolie-oda kaiyila irukkura strength-ku, night-la oru veriya level stamina irukku.” But his life takes a twist when Sindhu (Nayanthara), a bold journalist, arrives to expose the secret behind Velu’s midnight adventures — only to fall for his irresistible charm herself. Meanwhile, rival coolie boss Simon is jealous of Deva's reputation and challenges him to a contest — not of fists, but of who can please more women in 30 days. The final showdown? A slow-motion bedroom sequence scored by Anirudh, where Rajini walks out in just a veshti, lights a beedi, and says: “Work la Coolie… Aana bed la CEO!”
