Infinity Pool

A wealthy young couple is on a luxurious beach holiday when they meet an odd but compelling stranger. Moved to follow her outside of their resort the pair are suddenly faced with a culture of shocking violence and hedonism. Beyond the safety of their hotel gates, the two are seduced to partake in the deadly decadence of island life. When a tragic accident occurs the pair are forced to make unimaginable choices with horrifying consequences.

What to know

Infinity Pool is a science fiction horror film directed and written by Brandon Cronenberg. Son of the famous filmmaker David Cronenberg, this marks the director's third feature film. Frequent collaborator, Karim Hussain, handles the cinematography. Canadian sound artist Tim Hecker provides the score for this unpredictable thriller.

Leading the cast is Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard who plays the famous novelist James Foster. Skarsgard has acting credits that date back to his early teenage years but is most well known for his breakout role in the television series True Blood. He plays opposite Cleopatra Coleman taking on the role of his wife Em Foster. Actress and model Mia Goth, known for her horror roles in the Ti West movie series X, plays Gabi a mysterious force that knows more than she tells. Infinity Pool was released in cinemas on January 27th, 2023.
