Strange World

Searcher Clade is the son of of the famous Clade family whose adventures into the unknown make them renowned explorers. Searcher doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of his family and would prefer to continue a life of settled farming but all of that is about to change. With the discovery of a new land, Searcher is thrust into the action and the family will have to put their differences aside if they’re going to learn all they can about this new strange place.

What to know

Strange World is an animated fantasy adventure film from Walt Disney Animation Studios. It is the 61st Walt Disney animated film in the canon. After having achieved commercial and critical success with Big Hero 6 (2014), Moana (2016), and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), Don Hall directs this animated feature alongside writer Qui Nguyen who also wrote Raya and the Last Dragon. Jake Gyllenhaal is in the lead role as Searcher Clade and Alan Tudyk continues his run of featuring in every Disney animated film since 2012’s Wreck-It-Ralph. Strange World was released in cinemas on November 23, 2022.
