Synopsis
Joe is a veteran spy training an all-female unit of undercover operatives in the CIA’s Lioness Program
Joe is the station chief for the CIA’s Lioness Program where brilliant women are trained for secret missions in the field. No longer an undercover agent herself, Joe is teaching a new batch of operatives, including a rough-around-the-edges marine, Cruz Manuelos. Cruz is tasked with infiltrating the life of a secretive billionaire who is clandestinely funding a terrorist network. Deception doesn’t come easy to the new recruit who must rely on her mentor and a chain of experienced women across the generations for help in the most difficult mission she's ever faced.

Special Ops: Lioness is a spy thriller television show produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Blossom Films. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan, an American filmmaker known for the shows Yellowstone, 1883 and 1923. Sheridan also serves as the showrunner.
Special Ops: Lioness is led by Zoe Saldana who plays Joe, the station chief of the Lioness Program. She is joined by Laysla De Oliveira who stars as recruit Cruz Manuelos. Legendary Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman stars as Kaitlyn Meade head of the program. Morgan Freeman stars as Secretary of State, Edwin Mullins.
