Captains Of The World Season 1 is a sports docuseries based on the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The show is a sequel to the series Captains which documented the qualifying rounds of the tournament. It is directed and executive produced by Ben and Gabe Turner through their production company Fulwell 37. They are known for the movies Hitsville: The Making of Motown and In the Hands of the Gods.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are among the main stars of the series. The pair are joined by other major soccer stars such as Christian Pulisic, Harry Kanye, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and more. Captains Of The World Season 1 was released on Netflix on December 30, 2023.
