Synopsis

This is a story of an earnest man, Jang Dal Goo, who goes to the Middle East in the 1970s to make a living. However, after being abandoned by his motherland, Korea, he pretends to have died and decides to live in a fictional kingdom called Bodantia. Through certain incidents, he becomes successful there. He changes his name to Saeed Faad Ali, becomes a count, and lives with no care in the world, swearing that he will never step foot in Korea ever again. However, after being ordered to bring his daughter to Bodantia unless he wants his assets to be confiscated, he returns to Korea to meet his daughter and son-in-law. Unfortunately, the joyful reunion between the long-lost father and daughter soon loses its meaning as stories of each character's lives unfold. This drama discusses the definition of a family in a very comical way.
