The four friends are back at Essex College and this semester they can expect more sex, more parties and more problems. Leighton is slowly growing in confidence and now she has an opportunity to be accepted for who she really is. Still tentative in her sexuality but having come out to Kimberly, the pair are closer friends than ever before. Kimberly herself looks set to lose a lover in Nico, whose secret girlfriend returned from studying abroad. To make matters worse for Kimberly, she’ll be dealing with the financial consequences of having her scholarship revoked. Suddenly single and seriously stressed, she will be in a tough situation.

Bela is back and ready to be in a relationship. Maybe. She has some difficult choices to face; should she pursue the spark with Eric? Or does she want to be free to take whatever comes her way? Regardless of the romance, Bela is set to start an all-female comedy club and face down the misogyny of The Catullan. Unaccountable men are all over campus. After a complicated affair with her soccer coach, Whitney is putting it all behind her and looking to focus on the present. It helps that the soccer season is over and that should mean fewer run-ins with coach Dalton. At the same time, without access to her passion, Whitney will have to find something else to occupy her time.

A bourgeoning relationship with Canaan might just prove to be the perfect place to put her energy. Leighton, Kimberly, Bela, and Whitney are set for more college adventures and as they grow closer their friendship grows deeper. They’ll need each other for what is to come.
