Sharon Horgan returns for second season of Irish black comedy series on Apple TV+
Bad Sisters season 2 is the upcoming season of the Irish black comedy TV series developed by Sharon Horgan, Dave Finkel and Brett Baer for Apple TV+. It is based on the series Clan, created by Malin-Sarah Gozin, which was originally released in 2012. Horgan not only co-developed the series but she also portrays series lead, Eva Garvey. Set in present-day Dublin, the series revolves around the Garvey sisters: Eva, Grace, Ursula, Bibi and Becka. When Grace's domineering and abusive husband, John Paul, meets an untimely demise, the sisters become entangled in a gripping investigation involving a substantial life insurance policy. The narrative shifts between two timelines: one that unfolds prior to John Paul's death, revealing the sisters' sinister plot to eliminate their brother-in-law, and another that takes place after his demise, where a tenacious insurance agent embarks on a mission to expose the sisters' malevolent involvement to salvage his struggling business.
Season two sees the return of Sharon Horgan reprising her role as Eva Garvey. Other returning cast members include Anne-Marie Duff as Grace Williams and Eva Birthistle portraying Ursula Flynn, the middle sister of the Garvey clan. Sarah Greene returns as Bibi Garvey along with Eve Hewson as Becka Garvey.
