Jude Law and Kerry Condon star in a Star Wars story directed by Spider-Man Trilogy filmmaker
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew season 1 is the upcoming season of Disney+'s coming-of-age sci-fi TV series from Jon Watts and Christopher Ford. The series, known during its development as Grammar Rodeo, is set in the same era as The Mandalorian and its spin-offs, following the events of Return of the Jedi, and is part of the Star Wars franchise. Executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, known for their work on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, are involved in the production of Skeleton Crew.
Director Jon Watts and writer Chris Ford are the co-creators of the project with Watts having previously helmed the Spider-Man trilogy that includes Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home. The list of episode directors for the series is an impressive one, with the Academy Award-winning duo responsible for Everything Everywhere All at Once known as The Daniels, and The Green Knight director David Lowery, among those confirmed. Other notable directors on board include Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung.
The lead role of a Jedi in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is played by Jude Law with Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Tunde Adebimpe and Kerry Condon among the other cast members.
