The urban legend says if you say his name five times while looking in the mirror, he appears in the reflection and kills you. When Anthony and his partner move to Chicago, he learns of the infamous candyman and hopes to use it for his creative inspiration – a decision that unleashes a wave of violence in his new hometown. Candyman is a spiritual sequel to the 1992 horror film of the same name. It is produced and co-written by Jordan Peele, who shocked audiences with Us and won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Get Out.
