Synopsis
Jhulan Goswami is the greatest unsung hero of Indian cricket
Jhulan's story is of a young athlete desperate to follow her dreams, to live her passion, and to make sport her life. Chakda ‘Xpress is an upcoming sports drama movie. It is directed by Prosit Roy, a filmmaker known for the supernatural horror movie Pari. He is joined by screenwriter Abhishek Banerjee who also worked with him on Pari. Pratik Shah handles the cinematography having worked on the television shows Jubilee and Kaafir.
Chakda ‘Xpress features Anushka Sharma in the lead role as Jhulan Goswami, one of India’s greatest cricketing heroes. Sharma is a producer and actress known for her roles in Sultan, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Sanju.
