Synopsis

After his mind-bending introduction to the multiverse, Miles Morales is back for another reality-altering trip

Better known as the web-slinging Spider-Man, Miles reteams with Gwen Stacey a.k.a. Spider-Woman to fight a dangerous foe. As the pair learn of a supervillain with multi-dimensional powers, they must warn all Spider-People across different universes of the oncoming threat. In the process the pair meet the Spider-Force, sworn protectors of the multiverse who have their own ideas of how to deal with the menace.

Oscar Isaac and Daniel Kaluuya are among the star guests in the movie

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part One is an  animated superhero movie. It is produced by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation and Marvel Entertainment. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part One is written by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with additional writing by David Callaham. The movie is co-directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson. Daniel Pemberton returns from his work on the first film to score the sequel.

Shameik Moore stars as Miles Morales in this animated version of the beloved Spider-Man character. Joining Moore are Oscar Isaac and Jake Johnson who both play Spider-Man. Isaac’s Spider-Man is from an alternate future and Johnson is a Spider-Man from another dimension who was a mentor to Miles. Hailee Steinfeld is the voice of Gwen Stacy and Issa Rae takes on the role of Jessica Drew. Both of these characters portray Spider-Woman in their respective dimensions. Oscar winner, Daniel Kaaluya portrays Spider-Punk, while Brian Tyree Henry is in the expanded cast. Karan Soni plays Spider-Man India. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) was released in theaters on 2nd June 2023.
