Synopsis
Barney Ross is back with a team of highly skilled killers
With the backdrop of a simmering nuclear conflict between the United States of America and Russia, the Expendables are back with every weapon imaginable. Barney Ross is once again leading the team against their new fearless foe. With a massive private army behind him, the mysterious arms dealer is the target of the specialist group of assassins. Alongside Ross is Lee Christmas, the blade aficionado; Gunner Jenson the hand-to-hand expert and Toll Road who knows how to manage a controlled explosion. With their selective skills, the crew assembles to take out their mark, this time a mastermind of the global arms trade.

The Expendables 4 is an action film that serves as a sequel to 2014’s The Expendables 3. The movie is directed by Scott Waugh, an action filmmaker known for Act of Valor and Need for Speed. The movie is an original story from Spenser Cohen who handles the screenplay alongside Max Adams. The movie is once again an R-rated outing in the same vein as the first two movies. Sylvester Stallone returns to the Expendables franchise with another line-up of action-hero veterans. He reprises his role as Barney Ross, leader of the Expendables, alongside Jason Statham as deadly knife expert Lee Christmas, Dolph Lundgren as combat expert Gunner Jensen and Randy Couture as demolition man Toll Road. The Expendables franchise is known for featuring all-star casts that include several legends of the action movie genre. Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Andy Garcia are other notable names in the stacked cast. The Expendables 4 was released in cinemas on September 22, 2023.
