Synopsis
Robert McCall returns to face injustice in The Equalizer 3
Robert McCall is an avenging saint set loose on the criminal underworld. Pulled back from the brink of his quiet retirement, McCall is a mysterious figure who takes the law into his own hands and dishes it out with his fists. Even as he leaves the United States and find a home in southern Italy he sees injustice lurking and has no choice but to face it. Anyone who gets in the way of his mission is in more danger than they could ever imagine.

Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington reunite for the third Equalizer movie
The Equalizer 3 is a vigilante action thriller movie in the Equalizer franchise, which is loosely based on the 1980s television series of the same name. This third film in the franchise is once again directed by celebrated filmmaker Antoine Fuqua. Fuqua is known for directing high profile action movies such as Training Day, The Magnificent Seven, and Emancipation. He reunites with screenwriter Richard Wenk, who also wrote the scripts for both previous movies in the franchise.
The Equalizer 3 is led by acclaimed Hollywood actor Denzel Washington who also serves as a producer on the movie. He reprises his role as former Marine, Robert McCall. Joining him in the cast is American actress Dakota Fanning, who marks her second on-screen appearance with Denzel Washington after her breakout performance in Man on Fire. The Equalizer 3 was released in cinemas on September 1, 2023.
