Synopsis
The mysteries of space travel come to the fore when returning astronaut Jo faces her past
In the aftermath of a tragic accident on a space mission, Jo returns to Earth in search of a new life. As she settles back into her routine she begins to realise that pieces of her life are strangely missing. In her attempt to recover them she unravels the mystery of space travel and its dark history.

It is written and created by Peter Harness who is known for his work on McMafia, The War of the Worlds, and Doctor Who. Michelle McLaren directs the first two episodes of the series. She is known for having worked on television series such as Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The X-Files, Westworld, and Better Call Saul. Oliver Hirschbiegel and Joseph Cedar are credited as additional directors of Constellation Season 1. The series is produced by McLaren Entertainment, Turbine Studios, Haunted Barn, and Haut et Court TV for Apple TV+.
Constellation Season 1 stars Noomi Rapace in the lead role as Jo. The Swedish actress is best known for her roles in movies such as Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. American actor Jonathan Banks stars as Henry and is joined by James D’Arcy who plays the role of Magnus. Rebecca Scroggs and William Catlett star as Frida and Paul Lancaster.
