After the battle between Godzilla and the MUTOs that flattened San Francisco, the secretive organization Monarch is trying to pick up the pieces. With the revelation that giant monsters are real now clear to the public, two siblings go in search of a smaller truth about their own family connections to Monarch. This multi-generational story sees the secrets of Monarch threaten the stability and safety of the world.
"Godzilla fans will naturally love Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which dives further into the lore of the MonsterVerse. But anyone who loves great monster flicks like Pacific Rim or Cloverfield will appreciate Monarch’s cinema-quality CGI and 300-foot titans. It’s also a must-watch for any fans who plan on seeing Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire next year. If you enjoy giant monsters who smash things, this one’s for you."
"Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is perfect for fans of the expanding MonsterVerse who want to dig deeper into what Titans mean for the world. For those who enjoy the typical action-packed monster film, there's a healthy dose of Titans and connections to Godzilla (2014) and Kong: Skull Island. However, it will also appeal to those interested in a character-driven story about family, trauma, and secrets. Those interested in understanding what a world post-Titans would look like and how citizens cope with that knowledge will be intrigued by this thoughtful MonsterVerse entry."
