Synopsis

The origin story of Winston, the mastermind and manager of The Continental

The Continental is an iconic safe house for assassins run by the enigmatic hotel manager, Winston; but in the 1970s it was just an idea in the head of a young man. As the garbage piles high on the streets and the influence of the Mafia grows, New York City turns into a grimy underworld. Where there is frustration and disillusionment, there is also opportunity. Winston and his associates acquired the Continental under mysterious circumstances. Their role in setting up a network of lethal international assassins and their relationship with The High Table, a powerful criminal council of members, is all set to be uncovered. The history of The Continental tells a story of high-stakes criminal activity and the man guarding all those secrets is at the center of this story.

Produced by Lionsgate Television, the show had originally been set to air on Starz before making its way to streaming platform Peacock. The show has undergone a raft of changes but has settled on a unique format. It consists of three 90-minute episodes.
