Synopsis
Cole is smitten but his new love interest Sadie is not all she seems
After a first date, Cole Riggan thinks he might have found love. But when Sadie ghosts his many text messages he decides that he’ll pursue her with a grand romantic gesture. Knowing that she’s traveled to London for work, Cole throws caution to the wind and seeks her out. What he finds is an international conspiracy and himself in the middle of it. Sadie is a CIA spy who alongside her various missions now has to protect her unwitting love interest who’s mixed up in the madness.

Ghosted is an action-adventure romantic comedy produced by Skydance and Apple Studios for Apple TV+. The movie is directed by Dexter Fletcher, an English filmmaker. He is known for directing the movie Rocketman and the television miniseries The Offer. He was also the uncredited director of the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. The original story was developed by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who is known for writing the movies Deadpool and Deadpool 2. Additional screenwriting credits are given to Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Ghosted is led by Cuban and Spanish actress Ana de Armas who first gained recognition for her role in Bladerunner 2049. She has since starred in the James Bond movie No Time to Die and the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde for which she was nominated for an Oscar. She plays opposite Chris Evans, the actor best known for his portrayal of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Adrien Brody, Tim Blake Nelson, Mike Moh, Amy Sedaris, and Marwan Kenzari make up the expanded cast. Ghosted was released on April 21st, 2023.
